Competing Interests
T.A.B. has published a scientific rebuttal about the 2048 prediction, has collaborated with Ray Hilborn on seven recent papers, and with Boris Worm on two recent papers, and additionally hosted Nancy Baron at the 2012 Bevan Series on Sustainable Fisheries at the University of Washington (Nancy Baron was involved in media outreach for Worm et al. 2006). This does not alter the author’s adherence to all the PLOS ONE policies on sharing data and materials.
