Competing Interests
The authors have read the journal's policy and have the following conflicts: a patent application has been submitted with Anders Bjartell and Tommy Andersson as inventors in which they, based on the present results, propose to treat prostate cancer patients with tumours with a low endogenous Wnt5a expression with a substance that reconstitutes Wnt5a signaling in the prostate tumours of such patients. This application does not alter the authors’ adherence to all the PLoS ONE policies on sharing data and materials.
