REM sleep without atonia

Posted by pablohenny on 13 Jun 2007 at 08:49 GMT

I enjoyed the article a lot. Two things I would like to ask/comment:

My guess is that to differentiate between W and REM sleep without atonia may not be easy. I wonder whether the decrease in REM was actually an increase in REM without atonia, which thus may have been classified as W.

I would have appreciated a figure showing episodes of W, SWS and REM sleep in both conditions

Regards,

Pablo
