This is an important first step. In a murine model extracranial venous obstruction results in chronic intracranial hemodynamic changes. This leads to several questions for future evaluation.

Does extracranial venous obstruction lead to alterations in CSF fluid dynamics in a murine model?

Do the symptoms seen in humans with chronic jugular venous hypertensions occur in murine model. In particular does it lead to dysautonomia? Postural drainage abnormalities seen in humans such as altered sleep, fatigue and headache upon awakening would not be expected to occur in a murine model.
