The first work deals with LCD reflections in common objects (teapots, mugs) found near monitors. They're able to read small fonts from 5m away with off-the-shelf equipment, and from up to 30m away with specialised equipment.

The second work improves upon this by investigating diffuse reflection (e.g. from T-shirts, wall), and noticably also covers reflection of computer screens via the eyeball and recovery of information from there.
