Much evidence supports He, et al. findings

There are a number study areas that support the findings in study by He, et al.

1. Within a species, the smaller individual tends to live longer
2. Smaller animals created through caloric restriction live longer
3. Centenarians are quite short
4. US data show shorter ethnic groups have lower age-adjusted mortality rates
5. Females live longer than males
6. Six top populations in life expectancy are relatively short
7. Survival studies show shorter men are more likely to reach 90 or 100 years
8. About 20 longevity studies show shorter people live longer

Many biological mechanisms support the greater longevity of shorter, lighter people.
