Genocide a Possibility

Perhaps another theory is genocide by the “modern humans” to the Neanderthals. It is very common in history for immigrants into a new land to annihilate the indigenous people. This could have happened when the “modern humans” immigrated into Neanderthal country, and is more likely given “human nature”.
