Great paper, congratulations. It would be interesting to analyse the acoustic signal and correlate them with the vibration signals as in 10.1371/journal.pone.0090902, then to extract the excitation of both

Thank you very much. You are absolutely right and it would definitely be great. To shed some light on aerial and vibrational components of sounds in the "ant world" would be of great interest also in the view of broadening the knowledge about sound perception in ants (e.g. organs).
