A great resource for graduate students

A point which doesn't seem covered in the article is that I've found researchblogging.org to be a great resource to structure student reading of articles. An excellent example is the collective blog "Student voices" (http://www.researchbloggi... and http://www.nature.com/sci...), and similarly we ask our students to blog about articles they discuss in our doctoral school (http://www.researchbloggi... and http://genomeeee.blogspot...). Both reading and writing such blogs give students a better understanding of critical science reading.
