Coaches are always trying to give players an edge and so when I was presented the opportunity to have our team undergo this vision training, I quickly accepted. The investment in time, which was an initial concern, is minimal and the benefits have proven to great for us to ignore. I have no doubt that this training has helped our hitters. They have become more capable of recognizing pitches, especially the spin on breaking pitches and better at being able to quickly study opposing pitchers. In speaking with our hitters, they are also believers and insisted that we continue the program.
