closepuzzling variable choice

years after Common Myna establishment

The choice of this variable is extremely puzzling as a time-series estimating myna density are presented and the effects posited for mynas are likely density-dependent. The linear increase of this variable would appear to correlate poorly with the myna density time series which appear to follow roughly an inverted parabola.

We used the variable of years before and years after myna as we wanted to be able to undertake a ‘before and after’ comparison. Specifically we wanted to see if bird populations changed significantly after the arrival of the Common Myna.
