closeWhat about waist/height ratio?

Could the authors comment on how waist/height ratio compares to ABSI? WHtR has also been proposed as an alternative to BMI, and I would assume that adding height into the equation results in less correlation than is seen between BMI and WC alone.
Is ABSI more or less correlated with mortality than WHtR?

Unlike ABSI, the waist to height ratio is highly correlated with BMI (r = 0.89, compared to a correlation of 0.88 between waist circumference and BMI). Waist to height ratio is a weaker predictor of mortality hazard in the NHANES 1999-2004 sample than ABSI.
