questions/thoughts

Out of curiosity, did any researchers in the field of religious studies consult on this project?

I would be curious to know what ages the participants were at the time of their "born-again" experience, as well as other details of that experience (do they describe it as stressful; was it supported by friends/family or looked down upon by friends/family).

I would also be very interested to know details of the life experiences of "born-again" individuals from before their born-again experience (or life changing religious experience). Is it possible that there are differences between non-born again protestants and pre-born-again folks that better account for the stress? Asked another way, is it the born-again experience that leads to the stress, or do born-again protestants have more stressful upbringings than non-born again protestants?

Very interesting study.

No competing interests declared.
