My reactions

I followed the link from the NYTimes online to read this article, which I found of great interest. I do not know if my reaction to exercise is metabolic or not. However, I am not obese and while my diet is not the most perfect example, it is fairly healthy. My response to exercise is not. Even with moderate and/or nonimpact exercise, my face becomes very red and hot, I lose peripheral vision, my head pounds, and I feel as if I am going to faint. It takes a while of quite sitting to get back to normal. I have had EKGs and stress tests-- all normal. My physician's advise: don't do it if it makes you feel bad. I do hope you will continue in this work and would be eager to see you examine patient experiences as well as the lab data.
