Important contribution of Ca induced Ca release

This paper comes the closest I have seen to a structural explanation of Fabiato's initial concept of Ca induced Ca release. The highly comlicated area of cluster formation of the L-VDCC, it's location in the plasma membrane and how it may interact with RyR2. The novelty lies in an vital role for the isoforms or the beta subunits associated with the L-VDCC, induce the clustering. An outstanding contribution.
