in addition to your 3D pdb. comparison which you showed an alignment (2D) of MreB with MamK on protein sequence level would be helpful. Nice article anyway.

Hello !

I think your right, we should have seized the opportunity given by PlosOne to publish any (reasonable) number of color figures we want. The 3D model is informative by doesn't give any information about key aminoacids that might be changed.
