NPs in living organisms

Posted by flarn on 13 Aug 2009 at 21:52 GMT

Research in interactions of engineered nanoparticles and organisms has to go on, especially if you take a look at the progression of commercially available nanoparticle-based products. So it’s the right direction to use model-organisms with higher complexity. But the important aspect is to get statistically proved values. Further studies will have to use techniques of statistic as used in this work to get comparable and validated results.

Thank you for your considerate comment !
We fully agree that statistical meaningful investigation of nano-bio-interactions is a main goal of future research and hope to have set the stage with the current study in C elegans.
