biomarkers more easily delineate subgroups

The problem with symptom base research definitions is that they add in everyone and their cousin making research on one subgroup problematic in extrapolation to other subgroups. The use of biomarkers allows researchers to create cleaner datasets and if used consistently by researchers can also clarify the muddle of scientific literature on these disorders.
