Paedophryne amauensis featured on Wikipedia

Posted by Mietchen on 12 Jan 2012 at 13:36 GMT

P. amauensis is currently featured in the "In the news" section of the Main page of the English Wikipedia (cf.
http://www.webcitation.or... ).

Entries on the species now exist in the English, Dutch, Finnish, Portuguese, Russian and French Wikipedias, at Wikispecies and Wikimedia Commons, along with related entries on the genus and on the other species therein.

If the authors could supply further materials - either of the kind requested in previous comments (sound recordings, editable figures), or any other supplementary text or media - that would help improve these and related articles (e.g. on the smallest animals, or on the village Amau).

Competing interests declared: I am currently serving as Wikimedian in Residence on Open Science (cf. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedian_in_Residence_on_Open_Science ), which includes facilitation of the reuse of materials from Open Access sources on Wikimedia projects.
