Ultraviolet light impact on regulation of Rac in skin

Posted by rsonthei on 30 Jan 2011 at 15:35 GMT

Human clinical evidence suggests that high dose long wave ultraviolet A-1 light (UVA-1 or UVA1) can soften fibrotic skin in humans having localized forms of scleroderma. Based on the data presented in this report, one might question whether UVA-1 might be capable of downregulating Rac gene expression in human sclerodermatous skin.
