Not a test of S-cone function?

Does the 38-plate Ishihara Test diagnose abnormal S-cone function? I thought it was mainly for L- and M-cone function. Admittedly, abnormal S-cone function is rare.

It does include plates with violet-blue only. All subjects were able to distinguish violet from blue.
