How do you define "Native Americans"? If you define them as populations who look like East Asians then it is logical that your study will conclude that Native Americans descend from East Asians and not from Paleoamericans! If Paleomericans had descent, what would they look like? My bet would be: dark-skinned populations with "primitive" lifestyles, some of which may have mixed with or been mistaken for run-away African slaves later on. So, I guess that if you included the so-called maroon populations in future studies you might find traces of Paleoamerican genes and traits.
