We see similar domain combinations in plants (missing the hydrolase domain) and many other eukaryotes, with the notable exception so far of insects and fungi. However, we haven't seen a ACAD-CAK fusion in bacteria, and this would be worth reporting such a long-range conservation or convergent evolution.
