I did provide detailed comments on earlier versions of the manuscript, and these comments were sent to the authors to indicate my concerns about several of the assumptions of the study and to provide more detailed information about the dog vaccination campaigns. These data were not used in this analysis, and would not support the conclusions that have been drawn. I did not agree to be included in the acknowledgements.
