Correction and thank you: pp32 is a phosphoprotein

Posted by Jbrody on 25 Apr 2011 at 23:22 GMT

We thank Dr. Patrick Reilly for his thorough reading of the manuscript and abstract. Indeed, a correction should be noted that was missed during the final edits. PP for the pp32 portion of the name is a "phosphoprotein"and not "protein phosphatase." We appreciate this note, as the last author was part of the initial cloning of the gene family and we appreciate keeping the full integrity of the function of the gene intact. Thank you again for giving attention to this matter. We note the only correlation is that pp32 has been cited as potent inhibitor of PP2A (PHAP-I).
