LVP treatment of iDC inhibits maturation induced by LPS but not by polyI:C.

The data actually show that LVP treatment does NOT influence LPS-induced DC maturation. It is cytokine production that is partially inhibited.

Indeed LVP does not interfere with PHENOTYPIC maturation but it interferes with FUNCTIONAL maturation induced by LPS as shown on figure 3 for cytokine secretion and on figure 4 for the ability of DC to stimulate T cells.
