measuring size

How you define size is not a trivial question. We the authors of this paper thought long and hard about this. Clearly minimum and maximum adult body size is not a good measure for a species, thus we are left with average or median adult size as the most reasonable measure. We decided to use average adult size. -Christopher Austin
