The second-to-last sentence under the subheading "Human blood plasma samples and collection procedure" in the Methods section should read: “Blood samples collected in EDTA tubes were first centrifuged at 2,800 rpm (1,054g) for 15 min at 4 °C, and plasma (upper phase) was transferred to another EDTA tube and centrifuged at 3,200 rpm (1,376g) for 15 min at 4 °C to remove any remaining cellular material.”
