Postures different in plate A and B
How come the relative positions of the head and hindleg are different in Plate A and Plate B? It looks to me like Plate B is less hunched over.
I could understand the difference in tail position due to Plate B tail fabrication, although I'm guessing that is not actually the reason.No competing interests declared.

Basically, much of the lumbar region of the WDC specimen is fake.No competing interests declared.
The left is a fossil that found in two nearly complete pieces. The right is the endocast (a trace fossil) and was incomplete. The new material was made using casts of the real fossil. At least that what I got out of their text.
