Dominant chimpanzees of a group could also imitate chimpanzees of a lower rank when chimpanzees of a lower rank are displaying innovative behaviours enabling them to obtain resources desired by dominant chimpanzees, which can happen when chimpanzees of a lower rank are deprived of resources by dominant chimpanzees and are displaying innovative behaviours to obtain resources necessary for their survival and reproduction. It can be wandered if dominant chimpanzees can also be aggressive toward lower ranked chimpanzees to obtain the resources instead of them after that lower ranked chimpanzees have displayed the innovative behaviours enabling resource acquisition for survival and reproduction in an environment.
