The virtue of web publication is, that an infinite number of digital objects can be linked. In this case, the most obvious would be a link to the original audio file. Gibbions have such wonderful voice display that I would like to hear them, and at the same time, I think, this would be a great assett to this publication itself.

This is the weakest claim for a functionally referential mammalian alarm call that I have ever read in 10 years.
It meets neither the production nor perceptual specificity requirements of Functional Referebce. Not even a single control stimulus and outrageously little data on naturalistic calling.
