additional material

The virtue of web publication is, that an infinite number of digital objects can be linked. In this case, the most obvious would be a link to the original audio file. Gibbions have such wonderful voice display that I would like to hear them, and at the same time, I think, this would be a great assett to this publication itself.

PLoS ONE encourages submission of supporting files, such as audio and video. Unfortunately, none were submitted with this paper. There is a link to a wonderful audio file from the Associated Press article: http://hosted.ap.org/dyna...

Additional Data Needed

This is the weakest claim for a functionally referential mammalian alarm call that I have ever read in 10 years.

It meets neither the production nor perceptual specificity requirements of Functional Referebce. Not even a single control stimulus and outrageously little data on naturalistic calling.
