This is the second very high-quality study on vitamin D that I've read on this site. I hope there will be many more! With all the correlations that have been reported in the media about what vitamin D seems to link to, it is becoming increasingly urgent in my opinion for researchers to begin nailing down just exactly what vitamin D does and how it does it. The broad responses in genes reported in this study is one of the most exciting developments I've seen yet, and I hope it can be confirmed with studies on larger numbers of people.
