Transgenic Biofortification of the Starchy Staple Cassava (Manihot esculenta) Generates a Novel Sink for Protein

This retraction is very instructive about the experimental research which was said to have been carried out by the team of four men three of whom were members of the team which, headed by Professor Richard T. Sayre, claimed that it developed Bio-Cassava Plus for Nigeria, my country, and Kenya, because I have not seen the report of their experiment, peer review, and publication of it by an independent and reputable journal.

I have asked both Professor Sayre and Dr. Fregene, my fellow countryman to send these to me through email but none of them has obliged me my request.

Meanwhile, the Transgenic cassava developed has been used for the production of bread said to contain 40% of it.

It is noted that no where is as much as 40% transgenic organism/food permitted in organic food.
