Qiagen's Type- it® Fast SNP Probe chemistry recommended for the rs12979860 TaqMan® genotyping assay described in this article

Dear Readers,

There have been at least two inquiries regarding the master mix to use with the rs12979860 primer and probe set described in this article. During development, the assay was tested with two different master mixes, but was only successful with Qiagen's Type- it® Fast SNP Probe chemistry.
