Pomacea maculata

Excellent article that blends basic life history, ecological tolerances and GIS skills. For people reading this paper, just as a note, Hayes et al. (2012) has changed the taxonomy associated with this species and provides insight into the larger phylogenetic distance between different Pomacea species.
