This paper describes a new technique for rapidly profiling the kinase activity of a cell. Using Morpholino antisense the authors individually knocked down the expression of targeted kinases and observed the changes in the global kinase activity profile of the cell. This work combined the specificity of Morpholino antisense with PanGene's peptide array assay system to show a new path to high-throughput assays of enzyme activity and characterization of the contributions of individual protein to those enzyme activity profiles.
