1, The mice number, n=2, or n=5
Too few mice can't make soild conclusion. Please Clarify. I searched the whole paper, all the figures....
2, Figure1, H, is the quantification data for Thio-S, but in the legend it was explained as ELISA data. This is some obvious mistake.
3, Figure1, B, why did you use half of the hippocampus for A11? I am asking this because in A and C you used the whole hippocampus

Thank you for your questions regarding editorial points in our publication. Please find our answers below.
1. Question “The mice number, n=2, or n=5”?
Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4 each contained an n=5 per group. For behavioural experiments, including figures 5, 6 and 7 n=7-14 was used per group.
2, Question “Figure1, H, is the quantification data for Thio-S, but in the legend it was explained as ELISA data. This is some obvious mistake.”
Figure 1H is the quantification of Thio-S positive plaques and was incorrectly labelled in the figure legend.
3, Question “Figure1, B, why did you use half of the hippocampus for A11? I am asking this because in A and C you used the whole hippocampus”
Figure 1B, A11 staining, was photographed using a Zeiss Axioplan upright fluorescence microscope, while all other images were taken using a Zeiss DM4000. The field of view with the Zeiss Axioplan does not cover the entire hippocampus. However, the qualitative images were verified using the A11 dot blot to accurately quantify oligomeric Aβ in the hippocampus. At any rate, we do not consider there to be any differences between different brain sides.
