A very important contribution on neonicotinoids

Krupke et al. have given us facts about a potentially damaging relationship between commercial seed treatments and pollinator harm. Although focused on honey bees, their research suggests other pollinators which gather pollen may be at risk as well. They also give useful suggestions for partial mitigation of the problem. This is a must read for those interested in the intersection of agriculture and pollinators.
