Reviewer 2's Review

-----
The authors found that mesenchymal stem cell produced molecules are capable of providing a significant survival benefit in rats undergoing fulminant hepatic failure. The reported finding is interesting, especially the potential therapeutic value of MSC-derived molecules. However, the authors need to provide further experimental evidences such as histological analysis to explain why and how MSC-derived molecules can provide potential therapeutic effect on FHF model. In addition, the authors need to provide experimental evidences to demonstrate that MSCs are capable of forming colony forming unit-fibroblast (CFU-F). MSC represents Mesenchymal Stem Cell, not Marrow Stromal Cell. This reviewer suggests the authors use mesenchymal stem cells in this manuscript.
