Clay and diatomaceouos earth are both effective organic insect management chemicals. In particular, diatomaceous earth works by getting into the shells of insects and then dehydrating them.

I wonder if this chemical might have same benefit and be a potential insecticide that would have no adverse effects on humans and other large animals?
