Reduced MPS and mTor with resistance training of multiple sites

I was wondering if as an example if one trained the quadriceps with the leg extension exercise and after completing this movement the trainee performed a biceps curl exercise, would the activity induced by the first exercise have a impact, perhaps reducing full potential MPS/signaling function at the biceps. I have read that training a distal large muscle area like the lower limb which produces increased systemic hormone activity had little effect on the small muscles of the upper limb but wonder if activating MPS/signaling at one site reduces the MPS/signaling at another? Does stress at one site effect the MPS at another? I hope my question is understood.
