We are proud of our first author Kenny Kronforst for her first publication, reflecting work undertaken as part of her fulfillment of her Neonatology Fellowship training. We hope this novel model is broadly helpful to investigators interested in studying host-pathogen interactions in early life. We are open to any and all feedback on how to best use and/or improve our model in the future. Moreover, we are happy to provide technical advice and expertise to any who would like to make use of the model for research purposes and to collaborate with groups working in this area.
