Conclusions made here are supposition. There are too many variables that could skew the inference. My view is jury still out on Liem's Paradox. Many sick and dying organisms modify their feeding behaviors prior to death. Author cannot show that feeding behavior prior to death was snapshot of normalcy, etc. Also, many "jackpot" food stuffs are seasonal.
