These supplementary images,which became available after peer review of our manuscript by the PLOS ONE Editorial Staff
demonstrate the structural relationship between the Extracellular matrix of In Vitro Borrelia burgdorferi biofilms
derived from pure Planktonic bacteria [American Type culture Collection strain B31 of Borrelia burgdorferi} and the specialized shape shifted forms of Borrelia burgdorferi Inside of the biofilm borrelia burgdorferi communities.
