Is this statement true?

Posted by ramy on 16 Apr 2013 at 18:24 GMT

"Men are traditionally thought to have more problems in understanding women compared to understanding other men"
Is this statement scientifically sound or just based on popular belief?

This is a real question (not a rhetorical one). Is there any literature supporting the statement that men are perceived to have less understanding of women?

Good question. I would also have liked having a group of women subjects for comparison.
