The following corrections should be noted. No errors influence the analysis or results of the study.
boldAbstract:
“Due to the high number of journals registered in the DOAJ, almost 5000 at the time of the study, stratified random sampling was used.”
should read
“Due to the high number of journals registered in the DOAJ, 5175 at the time of the study, stratified random sampling was used.”
“During the last year an estimated 191 000 articles were published in 4769 journals.”
should read
“During the last year an estimated 191 850 articles were published in 4767 journals.”
bold Page 4:
[…] “the start year for the journals had to be corrected in 147 cases of the 521 manually sampled journals.”
should read
