wild case

We suggest that prey may be unavailable to bats in highly urbanized areas if these areas are avoided by many species, suggesting that reduced feeding activity may reflect under-use of urban habitats by bats

how about the case in the wild? does bats' feeding activity relates directly to insect biomass? and are there any other factors affacting bats' feeding activity? i.e. distance to roost site.
