I would first like to say that I enjoyed reading this. The finds are indeed interesting. I would like to ask a question regarding manipulation of sensory input and it's affect on the strength of the illusion of swapping.

How feasible do you conjecture artificial manipulation of the other senses is? I am very interested to know of any research currently underway or previously conducted and whether a full body experience, down to how the other person smells and how their garmets feel, is indeed possible and whether or not it could be implemented safely?
