Due to an error in the Material S1 (See corrected Material S1), the corrected data now shows that Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) has a significant effect for treatment with probiotics with a RR= 0.39 (95% CI: 0.24, 0.63) (See corrected Figure 3a). Furthermore, minor changes were given to the following diseases: HPP RR=0.66 (previously 0.70), and CDD RR=0.59 (previously 0.60). However, this did not change the overall RR= 0.58 across all eight gastrointestinal diseases (See corrected Figure 2).
