Data and scripts now freely available online

Raw data from this pilot study, and scripts which will reproduce the analyses presented in this PLoS ONE article, are available here:
http://www.hku.hk/bcowlin...

I hope that by releasing raw data and scripts we will be able to:
* Promote the reproducibility of our results;
* Allow other investigators to conduct their own analyses on our data;
* Allow other investigators to compare our data with theirs, for example to explore similarities and differences between research findings.
* Allow other investigators to prepare and plan for their own studies.

We are continuing to clean additional data from our pilot study which have not yet been published, including data on the clinical signs and symptoms of around 800 recruited subjects who were negative by the QuickVue test, data relating to the performance of the QuickVue test, and quantitative viral loads of specimens collected from index cases and secondary cases. These data will be released later in 2009.
